Then Matt and Cat review the 4 issue comics of THE EVIL DEAD movie adaptation from DARK HORSE comics written by Mark Verheiden with art by illustrator John Bolton.

Wherein I present a panel or two from an old comic, completely out of context and let your dirty, absurdist hungry minds ask WTF?

Really?  THAT’S what infamous gangster and longtime FBI snitch Whitey Bulger looks like?  Wow..he’s kinda hot.

This is actually the first page of the little known “Whitesploitation” comic Lois Lane: Unchained!   She’s taking her upper-middle class rage to the streets!

They were from two different worlds, but somehow, against all odds, in that one moment, they lived a lifetime of mutual neck warming love.  Fashionable print scarf or bright yellow boy scout style kerchief, they knew they were to remain secret soul-mates.

Matt picks apart The Mandarin’s plot from the pages of The Incredible Hulk issues #107-108, Ten Rings Hath The Mandarin and Monster Triumphant. Matt even uses his issue of The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe #15 to keep the Mandarin’s rings straight.

Matt and Cat: Special Edition – A Comic-Con Conversation

Comic-Con has come and gone and just this past weekend the 2012 attendees clamored and refreshed their browsers to snag tickets for 2013. I (Cat) was among those trying for tickets and managed to score another badge. WHEW! Having attended Comic-Con now for 13 years and I still can’t wait to go again and again and again!

Sadly, Matt hasn’t been to the Nerd Mecca! So Matt and I sat down to talk about Comic-Con! We rattle on about how’s it has changed, where the comic books can be found and other random bits about the fun stuff that there is to see in the aisles and the panel rooms.

I, Cat, buy comics every Wednesday as it’s been a habit that just can’t be broken. Since DC relaunched their 52 I currently collect 19-20 of the new titles. This week it’s almost an all DC, the an AOD comic that is just ok. What can I say? I’m a sucker for things of the Evil Dead realm. Well here’s the list:
